Another Stupid Day

We did a breakfast social thing at work, and when the return to office BS came up, Dawn, who I've always thought was a bit of an idiot, opined that, "Hey, at least we all have jobs and blah blah blah..." and I wanted to deck her. It was also suggested to me that if you're hybrid now, then even if you moved outside a reasonably commutable distance that you'd still be expected to go into the office, which is just nuts.

I applied to Keens Crossing and they said they'll review my application and get back to me about setting up a tour. This is going faster than I expected, and making me feel a bit hopeful. Several of their units look pretty great on paper at least.

Heard back from Jan and I have a guilty feeling that I'll probably need to tell her, essentially, "thanks but no thanks".
